I went to the trouble of looking at a web site with data from the '98 election in California. I found that out of 52 Congressional districts, 29 were Democrat, and 23 were Republican. A three seat shift, and it would divide down the middle. I am not sure that this supports the thesis of a massive repudiation of Republicans building a head of steam throughout the country...But according to Michelle, we guys are in denial...
