Zeev; I see your point. There will be very little heat of reaction. A fraction of an ounce in a ton will not make noticeable heat. It is easy to make stable materials for 90 degrees aqueous etchants. Well known science here, no mysteries. Al leachignreactions are inherentlh cheap. Outside heap is cheapets. Under $10 per ton for the whol shot to final gold. $25-30 is a good guess, and it may be under $20!!. With 10,000 tons a day to handle you get pump effiecencies of 50%, the grind step to 400 mesh is easy as part of the earth is 400 mesh already. They will sieve out the stones and mill to 400 mesh for under $2 per ton, maybe under $1 per ton. They are not taking large quartz rocks five feet big and going to 400 mesh. They are taking something looking klike dirt in your yard and making it finer.
