Howdy and Happy Saint Patrick's Day to Techride Pals!
May the sun always warm your face,
May the wind be always at your back,
May you always have shelter from the storm,
and may the base of a rainbow find a home in your front yard.
Joanie O'Tides

ps. Thanks Joe, but any buy you'd make of a stock I hold could only bring more luck!
It's yet too soon to tell if this is it's new range, or if the price will fall lower again...was tempted to sell some this morning to try to buy more back cheaper, didn't, and (as it turned out) could have. But it could have just as easily kept on going the other way;
risk of losing shares was worse than the possible reward of a few more at a momentum and more-news-to-come time like this...as luck and logic combined, left it alone.
If I really want to get in on a high-priced stock (to me, over $30 a share is high-priced and this one's 4X that), sometimes I can squeeze a buy-in of 10 or 20 shares as a start, just to get it going, and then either average more buys from that point or count on holding it for long to grow. That's how I started with DELL, then got some cheaper, then it split, so now I got 100 DELL shares at a nice low basis to hold for a long and grow. It only took a few months. A Winner's A Winner, no matter if the starter amount is small, it's still A Winner. Learned once I have the stock, it's easier to watch it closely from whatever that price and so from there justify adding to it when I can whether it goes up or down, if it's A Winner. Oracle is A Winner and you're lucky you got some at a low! I'll get at least just a few shares real soon, for a start. I also want to put all those "circle the wagons" P. Allen venture stocks under the microscope too, and some of them are new-tech and not high-priced... but won't have time for the long research hours of the thing til the weekend and waiting for penny trades which are almost ripe to afford any buys; as the portfolio is good to sit as it is at present. And Best of luck, Joe, with your St. Paddy's Pup! When I was 8 my parents went out in a snowstorm on this day to get us a pup who was desperate for a better home; my Mom had seen the day before that he was being teased by brats and a mean cat and she wouldn't wait to pick him up just because of a storm. A spaniel/terrier, we named him Lucky (obvious choice), I'll never forget the surprise of finding a little black puppy in the kitchen with my parents when they called us, and petting him out of his nervousness until he fell asleep happy on me and my sister's laps with the blizzard outside and the Irish music playing on the radio.
I can tell Puppy will be welcomed to your happy home on what will be a memorable and thrilling day for you all. Best of long companionship to you all. And I hope he leaves a positive market sign in his crate.
Joan
