When ANCR was a buck a share we thought it could have been bought (or at least controlling interest) for less than $50M.

None of my statements is contradictory, the shares were 1-1/8; there were fewer of them than there is now; there was no poison pill; and the s holders did have the right to buy (re: issue) more at that price. That single fact is what lead us not to accumulate shares, the shear fact that they could be heavily diluted. All these facts were true at the beginning of October.

chart i've included clearly shows ancr in the $1.75 range at that time. one week later
it was over $2 and a month later it was close to $4.

from the 3rd quarterly report ancr had close to 13mil shares.
the poison pill was announced on 3 november 98.
