I think GBLX overpaid *and* bought the wrong companies. A much better deal would have been to buy both IIXC and NXLK. IIXC gives you a very good national fiber network today, NXLK would add 24+ fibers on the LVLT network in 2001 plus local fiber loops.

Oh well.
