ELNK & T both use AlterNet for backbones. AlterNet was/is the culprit this a.m. (don't know if its still down as I type). ELNK ALSO provides alternate #'s to different backbones - at least in my area (Bay Area/California). Suggest you contact ELNK and ask them about access to alternate backbones in your area for times when their primary backbone is down.
