Newsflash:

Canadian 88 Energy Corp., one of Canada's major producers of natural gas, has joined REDWOOD ENERGY LTD. (RWD.V) in the Windy Point Project in the prolifically producing Green River Basin, Wyoming. This represents Canadian 88's first exposure outside of Canada where they have enjoyed a 91% success ratio in previous drilling programs. The 14,000 foot well-drilling program commenced in the end of January '99 and is now down approximately 11,600 feet. The Mission Canyon target is anticipated to be reached by the end of March '99. The potential recoverable reserves for the Windy Point Project are estimated at 200 to 500 billion cubic feet of natural gas with the potential for EIGHT wells. Redwood Energy (5.8 million shares outstanding) has a 10.16% carried interest in this first well.

Redwood Energy Ltd. has experienced management, monthly cash flow of $20K, no debt and $350K in the treasury. The company is diversified, has four projects in the U.S.A. & Canada and is aggressively pursuing other international plays with large reserve potential.
