off topic but... I'm not an expert with this, so bear with me, will you? I'm looking at the trades that are crossing (delayed).

quote.com

I see this bid: 9900 at 18 11/16, ask: 1000 at 18 3/4 repeated any number of times over time. Tells me that there is a market maker (LEHM?) who is or may be upstaging other market makers (?).

I'm also seeing individual trades - and I think that I see the doublecounting aspect of NASD... (It's around 10:50) I'm seeing a few trades at - 10,300, 10,800, etc - 100s, 300s, etc. and any number of apparently small trades that seem to blast through all at once - which I conclude are multiple sells against a single (larger) buy - or vice versa..... I assume I'm right.... (If not, I'll bet you will tell me). Damn, there it is again - another 10,800. Is there anything significant about that number? Why would somebody buy 10,800 shares at once? Why not 11,000? 10,000 even? Now here's a whole slew of trades at 10,800? NASD and CHGO both (Chicago board of trade?) Boy oh boy... 10,800 again. Any insights?
