| Tony, May The Luck Of The Irish Be With You Today (I'm Irish ancestry, born American)...and re: the politics, this I know for a fact and hope you think before you speak if you happen to be in a tipsy group today discussing such matters.... The Majority of "Real Irish" are the same as the Majority of "Real Americans" and feel the same way we do about radicals, vandals, bomb throwers, and murderers who take political disputes (the green/orange, what brand of Irish Whiskey do you drink, etc. quasi-
religious thing is just a description of who's on whose team in the ancient dispute of property and birthright and bigotry and royal bloodlines and status and power spoken of; it's not the
mercenary uniforms of the radicals or really anything to do with the
dispute itself, as you must know) calling themselves qualified to settle it by indiscriminate violence and name themselves leaders and revolutionaries while held in fear & contempt at large by all. (Assuming) you're a Real American, what you think of their ilk is the same way The Irish feel about Psychos who would never be accepted by the military and can't even hold down a job! They survive with their Bands Of Killers who delude themselves that the reason they're doing these things is that they "Fight For The Cause" and not admitting that it's the way they survive with their own kind, stay high, stay on the run, and that they get off on it. The Nice People, The Majority of The Irish, have/want nothing to do with the likes of these any more than any stereotypical sociopathic troublemaker over here has to do with The Majority Of Americans. I've been told that
oftentimes these bombings are not the work of the IRA, but of others who want to start trouble up again or perhaps as merely a cover for their mischief; and this makes sense as well. It's a complex matter.
Discussing the disputes in question is delicate; tread carefully around it today, as there are IgnorIrishAmuses out there
drunk and looking for a fight today over any reason whatsoever.
I hope you think of this, if you're in a crowd. I know enough Irish Natives to know what I'm talking about....though I've never been out of this Country except a brief jaunt or two to Mexico...seen almost every state, though....just happy where I am, I guess.
I hope your investment luck just turned sweet with Munder!!!
I like GNET, AOL, AMZN, YHOO, CPQ, DELL, ATT, LU, MSFT, IBM, CSCO, ORCL, SUNW, MRK, PFE, BMY, DIS, USAI, and DLJ
best right now, these are all Solid Stocks (some more than others)
and most are recent or coming splits so on many the share price isn't too bad right now relative to historic highs
because of this or another factor. I hold some of the above, hoping to get others or add to the holds before they go up again too much.
Best luck to you with Munder, your investing, and The Irish,
 Joana O'Tides
