Pal: <his reluctance in pressing the cap button--edamo> please elaborate. Are you referring to his lack of fear, in using further and further out, leap premiums? For example, I am concerned myself, when option contract "rolling" essentially takes care of a short term cash flow "problem". That many times "rolling" simply hides a loss, or at least simply postpones, the realization of a loss. I would like (for example) to see more talk about real trading profits, rather than using rolling to put the trader more and more into a position (through leaps) where the underlying is more and more tied up, because a bad options position was taken, and then the losses hidden by "rolling". Sounds like a smoke and mirror 5fer at times, to me. <ggg>
