I've got to admit, MM hasn't lost me much money. I do a LOT of due diligence on all recommendations, and my criteria are different from his. (Among other things, I like a good market presence and growing sales, NOT just a good product.)
That said, I'm quite offended to get a generic promotional letter which appears to contain all the class and credibility of every penny-stock promotion that crosses my desk. Might feel better about it if every subscriber had received a letter explaining what he was doing, why the promotion looked like it did, and what the real differences were between the publications. (No, the "planted" reader mail item in the latest CTSL is not a response. It's a whitewash.)
Bottom line, I no longer think this guy is even TRYING to have any credibility. You can't read the promotion for "Technology Investing" and come away with any conclusion other than that Murphy is a plain hypester, in the same category as the Joe Granvilles and penny-stock promoters of the world.
