Simple, Sam.

Nullsoft has the mindshare, the market share and the user loyalty. By the time this is litigated or settled, we'll be talking an installed base of 30mm, 40mm, who knows? PM may have a claim, but Nullsoft can stall. An injunction would be tough to pull off. So it's business as usual for the foreseeable future.

BTW, the suit's for what, $20 million? That's a joke. With more than 10mm users now, we're talking $0.50 a pop? The expected value of a settlement is less than the lawyers' fees.

A distraction, but not gonna slow 'em down.
