1,000 m X 100 m X 2.3 m = 230,000 cu.m X 2.7 t/cu. m = 600,000 tons.

These are the figures if the zone is 1 km long.

The flat-lying 2 m thick zone at over 100 m depth could not be mined at low enough costs to justify even direct shipping the $160 ore to the Sudbury Smelter.

Let's hope drilling brings some pleasant surprises because the zone as it now appears only has small tonnage potential!!!
