Not a bad strategy except your downside protection in May will only get you 7/8 of a point. Aug 25's will get you 2 1/2 but that will lock you in for six mos. If your view is correspondingly negative, then maybe a sale on any strength and try to replace the stock by selling 22 1/2 or 20 strike puts (either getting the premium or the stock at the strike less the premium received) and try to work your carrying cost lower. It is a sticky wicket when a stock takes such a big dive and stays there. One good sign is that when people who believe in a stock strongly begin to get ready to "puke" the position, it is usually a bullish sign. Don't worry, you have company.
