Judith: All I can tell you is that I precede nearly every conversation or communication with Reynolds with the phrase: Is there anything you want to tell the threads? Keeping the threads informed was, and is, my only intention. And, I believe, his as well.
You, and some others, seem to think the only proper method of communication is through PRs (news releases). What possible good would an interim PR do for the stock? Name one company that has tried the kind of information experiment that Reynolds has here. What possible reception would an interim PR get saying that: We are in the middle of negotiations for (whatever) and we expect something to happen (whenever). Judith, you know as well as I what would happen. The bashers would have a field day. The day traders would reap the rewards and the long-term shareholders would be shaking their heads.
For years I was a reporter, columnist and editor. I quoted people daily in the newspaper. That is what a reporter does, be it print or electronic media. Yes, I have been the one reporting. I also pride myself in my accuracy. If you are suggesting any ulterior motive other than to inform, by either Reynolds or me, you are dead wrong.
I am truly sorry for the stock price drop after my last post. However, the post was based on actual responses from Reynolds to questions asked by many on the threads. And I promised to report anything I found, positive or negative. I would encourage you or anyone else who wants to set themselves as a corroborating contact or alternate conduit to please do so. But if your agenda calls for me to discontinue what I have been doing, that is not going to happen. |
