That was a CMP article - that was NOT AN Intel announcement of a Merced delivery date. "In 1998, Intel is expected to begin delivery of Merced," Who expected it? Did it quote anybody at Intel as saying Merced was going to be delivered in 1998? Do you know the difference between Intel and CMP ? Hint - only one of them makes CPUs. Why don't you quote the YUK Register and tell us all that the Merced is DEAD ? Paul
