I have been following the recommendations of FSS for several months now. As mentioned on another thread, they do virtually always experience an intial bump immediately following the recommendation. The longer term however, is often not as rosy. The annual return is usually good, but be prepared for a rather uncomfortable ride in the interim. Some samples... (as of Close 02/14/97) CECN Recommended 8/31/96 at $.30 - .37 Now at $.42 (UP 12-40%) LBGF Recommended 10/19/96 at $3.375 Now at $2.625 (DOWN 22%) NHMCF Recommended 11/16/96 at $3.75 Now at $5.125 (UP 36%) JJFN Recommended 12/21/96 at $1.34 Now at $1.3125 (DOWN 2%) Generally more ups than downs, but be careful.
