From my research on many of the bigger stocks, the 3rd Friday (options expiring) has a real effect on stocks. Dell is no exception. In the past if you picked up Dell on the Wednesday low prior to the 3rd Friday & sold the following Tuesday or Wednesday, you'd pick up a 16% gain .. look at DELL, CSCO, IBM, EMC for example in Jan & Feb.

For this to prove itself Dell has to hit just under $50.00 by next Tuesday or Wednesday ... so we'll see.

I am a big Dell fan & would appreciate any thoughts.
