I think there will be more to come with the IBM/DELL deal but I
believe that the article went a bit overboard. Some of it is has
potential such as DELL assembling IBM machines but there is not going
to be a merger with Michael Dell as Lou Gerstner's successor. If Lou
left now my bet would be on Larry Ricciardi who succeeded Lou at RJR
a few years back before coming to IBM.
