For what it's worth I work for GE and I really can't see Welch buying into a business that is struggling with earnings and cashflow. Maybe he sees something I can't-that's why he's a CEO and I'm not. But seriously, where is the synergy with anything GE does?! I don't see any. Air Products makes some sense to me but not for USF to buy, but be bought.
