Planning seems to be the operative word: Conexant Systems Says It Is Planning* Multiple-Function Cable-Modem Chip* This just means they are really behind and trying the old FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) act with the investment and customer communities. They probably will have a chip out sometime - but, doesn't revenue count for something too? Nice day for BRCM - any ideas what was going on? Just anticipation by shorts for options expiration or something deeper? Hey where is Patsy anyway, that irrepressible "hedge fund" manager? Sold at 55, eh?
