< Momentum stock picking is as easy as doing a screen for 52-week highs. Try that for a while and see how many times you get burned by over-extended stocks. I have the bruises to prove it. >

Consider playing the short side. When a stock continues higher but volume begins to slack off and RSI and/or stochastics shows an overbought situation I look at a short play. It's even better if it's extended above the upper Bollinger band. For me, these are very short term trades, maybe a day to a week.
