Cybersurf launches 3web software in Edmonton

Husky Oil will be distributing a minimum of 30,000 3web software CDs to the
public in Edmonton. 3web provides free Internet access, free E-mail and
free new media. There are no credit card requirements, no commitments, and
no hidden fees.
Cybersurf and Husky/Mohawk will launch the program at a media presentation
on March 22. Beginning March 23, the CDs will be provided free to customers
who purchase a gasoline fillup at Husky and Mohawk service stations in the
Edmonton area. The distribution of CDs is controlled to ensure that all
users receive excellent performance right from the first time they log onto
the 3web system. Too many users signing on at one time would put pressure
on the infrastructure. Cybersurf will also continue to upgrade the
infrastructure as the user base expands to make sure that service quality
remains first class.
Husky/Mohawk will also be advertising on the 3web network in both Calgary
and Edmonton for a period of six months.
