Thanks to both you and Tyler for your replies. For a guy that didn't
have the time you did a very complimentary job in your explanation.
It is obvious to me that you both feel that the fundamental strengths
of OTEX far outweigh the market vulnerability that I was refering to
in my posts. I found your comparisons to netscape and microsoft very
interesting and I think it would be interesting to look at the size
of their markets in comparison to the potential size of OTEX's
market. While I agree that many companies could benefit from OTEX's
product, I perceive this market to be much slower in development
than the markets rapid rising companies like MSFT and netscape
locked into. Companies tend to go into transitions in years when they
have done well financialy and are more likely to take on the cost
of upgrading systems during those periods and I guess my conclusion
from these discussions would be to look for a slower steady growth
from this company. The former statement was to indicate that the
process slows down OTEX's market.
