Todd: Mitsubishi Rayon's new line will be focused on the "T-700" type product. 700 ksi tensile with 33+MSI modulus. Seems all the Japanese are doing the same thing - I think they are trying to establish a new standard for the non-aerospace market. I'm trying to find the phone number for the replay of Hexcel's conference call from Friday - supposed to have info on their carbon fiber expansion. Will post if I find it.

Also, rumors re: Owens Corning entering market are getting louder. Possible link with Monsanto. Carbon fiber is getting WAY too crowded. What is Aldila thinking? Overcapacity that is coming is going to make carbon dirt cheap (and will bankrupt a few companies).
