Tom, it's good to see what Roy Blumberg is doing these days. Thanks for the link.

As a chief investment strategist, you'd think Roy would have a shot as guest analyst on CNBC. Has anyone ever seen him as CNBC guest? Some 1000 messages back or so, someone suggested that these analyst appearances had to be 'sponsored' by the analysts' companies. I don't recall ever seeing an admission or denial of this view. What do you think? Do analysts pay for the privileges of appearing on CNBC? I'd be quite sure that for several analysts (like Jim Cramer, for instance), a TV appearance can bring a lot of new business.
