Was cooped up this weekend skiing. While minding my own sore muscles in a jacuzzi, some guy starts talking about working in Washington on biometric contracts for the government, INS, treasury dept., and ? secret service. Only intelligible info I gleaned from this guy is that "politics" was responsible for DBII getting the recent INS installment. He thought NEC had the best to offer but could not prevail. When I asked further questions he was not very informative.
My point. Now even while eavesdropping soaking in a hot tub I can't escape talk of the biometric industry. And, the government does not always function logically.
