alien,

I don't know if you recall one of my prior posts regarding Richard Casey and his selling of his Vivus stock below $3/share back in October.

He is now history and was at the top of the VLAD'S hit list of Vivus board members who needed to be shown the door.

Unlike Leland at least Richard was a smart man.

Richard saw the writing on the wall and walked out the door before we share holders pushed him out the door.

Having a lawyer on the board doesn't change Leland's situation one bit. If Leland can't deliver the goods before the share holder's annual meeting on June 8th, he will have to suffer the consequences. As I said many a time before, if he can't do his job effectively then he needs to take a hike and let someone with good CEO leadership qualities take his place.

I like the 2 new board members we just obtained. Look at the stock performance of the company Logan heads. Maybe he can teach the clown a thing or two. Rosati is also not a bad choice--between protecting patents and settling lawsuits, having a lawyer on the board IMO is a good move.
