Still, EBAY's one of the few Net stocks I don't get. Can't understand how it will earn enough money from modest commissions to rationalize its market cap. Understand AMZM (no position), as it's in the real estate business; shopping center developer. But what business is EBAY really in and where's the big money? One anecdotal thing that makes me laugh is that a number of people actually make a living selling stuff on EBAY. Maybe it's a (stealth) mall operator, too?
