I wonder, does anyone think that eventually we will have fiber optic modems? Glass from end to end. The ultimate in speed. I mean, regardless of MFNX using fiber infracity, or Qwest using fiber intercity, if you have an inch of copper connecting your computer to it, have you really gained the bandwidth goal for speed, or is this the same bottleneck you would have if you had copper end to end. Comments?

I am going to ask the same question on the Qwest board.
