About 5 years ago I was buying and fixing MBZ's and about 1/2 had car phone antennas. Never got the complete phone though because the owner kept it(G). It may have been a status thing then, but today its become a necessity for two of my relatives to have beepers, which is a bit inconvenient ( to chase down a phone and return the call). Two-way Dick Tracy radio/TV coming soon now (hehe) Msft is now moving strong in the wireless arena with new software so I guess a good way to participate it with Msft stock. .
