let me clarify, as i think we are saying the same thing. some index options go the course of stock options and cease trading friday for saturday expiration. others expire at the close tonight using tomorrow's opening price. i don't know which index options are in which category and would contact my broker if i was playing them up to the brink. i believe we are on the same page.
