Richy Glassberg; President & CEO: Richy Glassberg is building an effective team of experienced professionals to manage and grow the client base of Omni-net.com into the leading consultative online advertising and marketing network. Glassberg was SVP and general manager of Turner Interactive Sales, where he headed up all online activities for CNN.com, CNNSI.com, CNNFN.comCartoonNetwork.com and WCW.com. Glassberg joined Turner Broadcasting Sales in 1990 where he managed accounts for TNT and TBS in both New York and Los Angeles. He was promoted to senior AE for CNN and Headline News and was instrumental in the creation of Turner Interactive Sales. Prior to joining Turner, he was in ad sales for MTV Networks. A founding member of the Internet Advertising Bureau, he serves on the IAB Board of Directors. Glassberg is a member of the FAST Forward Steering Committee, a broad-based Internet industry coalition dedicated to accelerating the development and use of digital advertising. He also serves as vice chairman of the Interactive Media Liaison Committee for ABC Interactive.

Robert Chmiel; COO, Enhanced Services, Parent Company of Omni-net: Robert Chmiel brings more than 15 years of financial and operational experience with Fortune 500 companies to Omni-net. He was Chief Financial Officer for barnesandnoble.com, the $65 million online bookselling division of Barnes & Noble, Inc. before its merger with Bertlesmann. Prior to Barnes & Noble, Mr. Chmiel spent over six years with the Walt Disney Company, most recently as Vice President, Finance and Operations for Disney Online and was instrumental in its start-up. Mr. Chmiel's background includes extensive capital markets experience with Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. and Prudential-Bache. He started his career with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

R. Scott Ford; SVP Network Sales and Business Development: As SVP, Network Sales and Business Development, Scott Ford develops partnerships with sites within the network. Ford comes to Omni-net from DejaNews.com, where he was EVP in charge of advertising sales and business development. He opened DejaNews's business office in New York, oversaw strategic partnership negotiations and created a national sales force for the Austin, TX-based leader in Internet discussion. Ford has extensive sales experience in both print and broadcast. Prior to his position at DejaNews, he was the publisher of The Atlantic Monthly. He managed the New York sales staff of U.S.News & World Report and worked on the launch of Fast Company Magazine. He has also held sales positions of increasing responsibility with Conde Nast, Fox Broadcasting, CBS and Time, Inc.

Thomas J. Mannion; SVP Advertising Sales: As SVP Advertising Sales, Tom Mannion manages day-to-day sales operations, working closely with agencies and clients to build the Omni-net.com business. He comes to Omni-net from Point Cast, where he was responsible for directing all aspects of the sales efforts for the company in the Eastern United States, including hiring, training development and implementation of sales strategy. Prior to joining PointCast, from 1984 through 1994, he held several key sales positions for CMP Publications, one of the industry's leading publishers of new media trade magazines. In 1994, Mr. Mannion was named National Sales Director for Interactive Age, the first interactive publication targeted at the business community, where he was responsible for all aspects of the sales process.

Richard LeFurgy; Omni-net Advisory Panel; Chairman of the Board, Internet Advertising Bureau; Chairman, FAST Forward Steering Committee: Mr. LeFurgy is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Internet Advertising Bureau, and was a founding member in 1996. The group, with over 300 member companies, is dedicated to promoting the use and marketing effectiveness of Internet media. LeFurgy also serves as Chairman of the FAST Forward Steering Committee, a broad-based Internet industry coalition that was formed in August 1998 to accelerate development of online marketing.
LeFurgy, a 20-year advertising industry veteran, was one of the early evangelists of the Internet's tremendous advertising and marketing value. He began working in online media in 1996 and built Starwave's online advertising sales operation. In 1998, LeFurgy combined the ad sales operations of ESPN, ABC and Disney Online, and oversaw advertising sales for a diverse group of leading destination sites, including: ESPN.com, ABC.com, ABCNews.com, Disney Online, NBA.com, NFL.com, NASCAR Online and Mr. Showbiz. Prior to the online world, he was EVP, Senior Partner and on the Board of Directors at NW Ayer & Partners in New York (17 years). |
