I somewhat agree with your figures on this, but don't recall off the top of my head just how many incoming ports are provided by a channel bank. If it's 8, then we're talking 64k *concurrent* users, as you're indicating. However, remember to multiply number of available ports by 15 to get the total number of paying users, since, according to Helen (and I don't disagree in FNET's case) each incoming line can support 15 subscribers.
If we assume 64,000 incoming lines can be provided by 8,000 channel banks, we're talking $24 million in revenues (8,000 X 8 X 15 X $25).
Again, I welcome anyone to double-check me on this. As is typical when I do calculations regarding this company, I'm looking at these figures and saying "No way! Can't be this big!" <g> |
