don't kid yourself, diabolique (curious name for someone answering my question about proper ethics...)...plenty of LONG TERM INVESTORS were shaken out of the stock because of the drop that occurred in the stock last week, and probably even through yesterday. as others have pointed out, he flat out lied about the split, some investors believed him and sold out at a loss, PERIOD...others, like us, didn't fall for it but that doesn't make it ethical just because some "shareholders" make out. others in this business make it without lying to their shareholders, or screwing the little ones as the case was with cmgi/dw. jmo about the ethics here, regardless of being a "shrewd businessman," which i am NOT arguing about. he clearly has a lot of experience playing poker.
