Imutec Pharma Inc IMTShares issued 225146321997-02-12 close $1.25Thursday Feb 13 1997In the NewsThe Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that biotech analyst Bin Huang has decided to trade her business suits for a lab coat. Streetwise columnist Andrew Willis says the veteran analyst joined cancer treatment researcher Imutec Pharma this week as v-p of research and development. Dr Huang jumped from one of the more successful firms on Bay Street. She was biotech and life sciences analyst at Griffiths McBurney & Partners for the past year. Prior to that, she was with Credifinance Securities, another institutional brokerage in Toronto that had underwritten Imutec financings. Greg Misztela, head of research at Griffiths McBurney, says that Dr Huang had a great opportunity to do clinical research, which is her first love. For Griffiths McBurney, this marks the first time that a partner has left the brokerage, which was founded just more than a year ago.
