I have been long on Napier for a long, long time (no choice). I believe in their product and would like to use the SV-35 to strip my kitchen cupboards. I'm sure lots of other people would like to use it as well .....if they only knew about it! I read in this thread somewhere that it was now available at Colour Your World but when I went on Saturday the clerk told me she had never heard of such a paint stripper. All the paint strippers displayed exhibited the formidable skull and crossbones. I have used these conventional paint strippers and they are pretty scary! ( Don't breath in. Don't touch it. Don't dispose of it in the garbage. God help you if you get in your eyes.....blah,blah blah) I told her about SV-35 and how it was supposed to be effective, safe and environmentally friendly. She was very impressed, excited and keen to get it into their store. I left my name and she said she would look into the availability of the stuff and call me. I have heard nothing. Where is ICI? Aren't they supposed to be distributing this product? Why is it taking so long to get it to the market? I'm sure that once it is available, it will be snapped off the shelves by anyone who has to strip paint even if it costs more than conventional strippers. Napier should talk to Lee Valley Tools and provide them with their stripper. Lee Valley sells top quality stuff.
I'm a very frustrated little duck. Get the product out there and on the shelves. Then get some publicity...maybe advertise...maybe do an infomercial (it sure helped Fantom Vacuum Cleaner sales)....anything is better than nothing......do something....AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I'm going crazy!!!!!
