He said GE was going to push it now. He also said there are 11 EBCT machines in the Chicago area. The web site says different. If one looks at the web site, there are quite a few sales and management people contributing to overhead. They also have to keep the machinist,electronics guys and engineers around + mechanics and managers whether they sell 10 or 100 machines. I'll bet the actual cost of materials and labor to make a unit is less than $200,000, maybe quite a bit less.

At some point GE should take it over, and use its various MD shows, ER and Providence etc, and Dateline and NBC News to get past the Medical communities caution regarding EBCT.
