Hi

Private Placements are tough because of the regulations on Minimum size and who's who etc. However The idea seems brilliant to me and I for one am going to suggest it to management. The modification I would suggest however is that the financing be done as a rights offering where existing sharegolders are offered the chance to buy an extra share at a fixed price for a certain length of time. The rights can be done in such a way that they have a life of their own for 6 months or so and can trade separately like a derivative .

The Insiders if they wish can give themselves a bit of a lift by guaranteeing to pick up and subscribe aby warrants that the other shareholders don't. All kinds of run to be had

BTW it seems to me there's a bit more meat in this Globe article than we've had previously.

The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, March 18, edition that Aber
Resources and partner Winspear Resources are in a legal dispute that could
affect the future ownership of their potentially rich Northwest Territories
diamond project. The Globe's News Bulletins column reports that the dispute
comes after Aber failed to contribute its share of a $12-million
exploration budget earmarked for the companies' Camsell Lake project.
Winspear has informed Aber that it failed to make the payment before a
deadline set out under a joint venture agreement. Aber says it has taken
legal action to prevent Winpsear from diluting Aber's interest in the
project to about 16 per cent from the current 32-per-cent level. Winspear
currently owns the other 68-per-cent interest in Camsell Lake. Both
companies are based in Vancouver, reports the Globe.
