Wall Street Access

TradeStation(R) 2000i, OptionStation(R) 2000i, RadarScreen(tm) 2000i
and Omega Research ProSuite(tm) 2000i To Interface With Wall Street
Access Electronic Order Placement Services

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 1999-- Omega Research, Inc.
(Nasdaq:OMGA - news) announced today a comprehensive marketing alliance with Wall Street Access, the privately-held,
New York-based, NYSE member brokerage that provides online and personal brokerage services to the serious investor. The
marketing alliance has several aspects.

Investors using any of Omega Research's 2000i investment software products will see Wall Street Access as a menu choice
within those products to place trades. Specifically, if the investor right-mouse-clicks on a chart or quote window for a stock (or
other security), a place trade menu will appear with a selection of online brokerages to choose from. By then clicking on a
particular online brokerage on the menu, the online order form of that brokerage is instantly accessed through the Internet. Wall
Street Access and E*TRADE (Nasdaq: EGRP - news) currently appear as choices in the ''place trade'' menu of Omega
Research's 2000i investment software products, and the Company plans to add additional online brokerage firms in the coming
months. The Company currently plans to charge a flat monthly fee to brokerage firms that are included.

Wall Street Access will also sponsor Omega Research's product and user education seminars. These seminars provide
in-depth explanations and demonstrations concerning the use and benefits of Omega Research investment analysis software.
Omega Research intends to conduct more than 800 of these seminars during 1999 in over 60 cities around the United States.
Omega Research's products will also be promoted in Wall Street Access's television, print and direct response advertising, and
on its web site, and Wall Street Access will conduct promotions under which it will offer to pay its brokerage service clients
part or all of the cost of Omega Research software products obtained by them.

Marc J. Stone, Vice President of Corporate Development, Omega Research, commented, ''We believe that excellent
synergies exist between Wall Street Access and Omega Research. We both target the serious, active investor who is seeking to
obtain those products and services that will help him or her make and then execute better investment decisions.''

Eric Alexander, Managing Director, Wall Street Access, added, ''Wall Street Access caters to serious, active traders who can
benefit tremendously from Omega Research's award-winning, state-of-the-art investment analysis software products. Through
our alliance with Omega Research, we are continuing our commitment to meeting the needs of serious investors by providing
them with the investment industry's top technology products. We feel confident that the serious traders now using Omega
Research products will also benefit from the reliable, top-of-the-line brokerage services Wall Street Access offers.''

Omega Research's 2000i line of software products is compatible with the following real-time Internet and broadcast data
services: Data Broadcasting Corporation's (Nasdaq:DBCC - news) Signal Online (Internet), StockEdge Online (Internet),
InSite (Internet), DBC Signal (Broadcast) and BMI (Broadcast); Data Transmission Network Corporation's (Nasdaq: DTLN
- news) DTN Real Time and DTNstant (Broadcast); and PC Quote, Inc.'s (Amex:PQT - news) Hyperfeed(tm) (Internet and
Broadcast). Agreements are also in place to add, later this year, as compatible real-time data services, FutureSource
