Orologic's integrated circuits are designed to help switch vendors address their customers' requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. Packet memory with up to 1 million buffers and a large portion of the session control memory are implemented in RDRAM using two Rambus interfaces thereby significantly reducing the total system cost.
Orologic's first phase AnyLayer(TM) product family of scalable system-on-a-chip solutions is designed to address many requirements of IP routers and ATM switches.
