Good reply. I thought about the Culigan filters in the refrigerators but I know GE is pushing it's suppliers very hard on price (deflation is the theme this year). It would be much easier to buy from USF than to own them.

Stock price-Welch made it clear at the end of last year that the stock buy back was over so they could focus on aquisitions. Most of those have been companies that compliment current businesses or get GE into servicing their and other products. Push has been buying companies off shore lately.

Bottom line, I don't see GE buying USF and I don't know how would.
