It was the beginning of our own personal substantive debate, Neocon. If you hadn't been here to engage me, I would have posted the link to the article and forgotten it probably, instead of getting the details burned in from repetition. Funny thing, I don't think I realized at the time that j.g. had posted the whole article in front of me. Poor Paula, having her "old feelings" stirred up by Brock on behalf of Starr partner Porter and friends. But of course, it's beside the point, if we frame the debate the way you want to. Which is, of course, why I gave up on that style of debate. It's work to take on a single one sentence assertion and dig out the "facts". Then there's another 3 single sentence assertions to go after that. And I'm sure I'd still be missing the point. More fun to trade insults with the esteemed master of ad hominem ad nauseum, Mr. Allen.
