John Liu: Sounds like "benahamou" hype....WS has no confidence in 3com mgmt and any information that they send out to the street. benahamou and his cohorts need to "exit" the corporation. The damage that they have inflicted is certainly "unforgivable". We will have to sit on this stock for quite awhile before the Board comes to the conclusion that a "Restructuring of Mgmt" and especially a change in strategy occurs ! If the Board continues to drag their feet...then WS will continue to "punish" until they (Board) "Wakes up"! Hope everyone has alot of patience and cash on the sidelines to ride out this situation. I certainly feel for those who were on "margin" when benahamou and co. had their "lunch eaten"! Hopefully...Claflin (COO) will become the "shining light" out of the darkness for 3com and become the "shooting star" within the organization. Benahamou...certainly dropped a pile of his crap onto Claflin's lap and is in "hiding". He doesn't dare "open his mouth" realizing that WS has heard enough of his BS ! So, I expect we will be "hearing" more from Mr. Claflin who is well respected on WS and amongst the investment community. This will indicate to me that the Board will, at some point remove Benahamou as CEO and elevate Mr. Claflin...that is...if he can successfully plug up the "holes" in the ship that Benahamou and his CFO have inflicted. As far as I am concerned...mr.benahamou duties on the Board should be limited to placeing a "broom & dust pan" in his hand to keep the Boardroom "very clean"!
