If anybody screwed you over Susie if would probably be your broker and his inability to execute a proper trade. Have had bad experiences in the past with full service brokerages on stocks like this, so I now do all my trading online through discount brokerage. No problems to date. Feel bad for SprintCar but I suspect it was all human error. Proves that not all brokerages are created equal.
