Aren't you worried that the demo was only at 600 MHz?

The fact that they have anything running at 600 MHz is very encouraging. This is a very young core which has not yet been through much speedpath work. It is competing against a 6+ year core from Intel, which has been beaten to death to get to 550 MHz.

I will be surprised if K7 isn't up near 800 MHz by the end of the year.
