Mike,

I have always kept cash around... for unexpected purchases. I was 50% cash since the last tech correction... I try not to use margin and I like to play with options instead of margin. Mainly the reason I limit myself is because like most everyone I tend to get carried away... buying everything I like... without really thinking of the consequences. I got caught on the last downturn holding too many stocks... did not get hurt bad mainly because I have fast fingers.

I always expect a downturn... but that doesn't stop me from being aggressive... I don't want to play passive so I limit what I spend... it will leave me some money for rainy days...
