There are some days that are downhill. One can't expect too much response when there is an incomplete prototype. There will be an opportunity to see a huge upturn in Ballard stock when the hydrogen storage problem has been solved. The HU research looks promising and carbon nanofibers are a possibility. In the meantime, it appears, should there not a break through with these direct hydrogen supplys, then the menthonal reformers will probably be installed. It would be great to see refueling once a month with a carbon -hydrogen storage bottle, rather than to pump methonal every few hundred miles, but the most practical and cost effective method, including infrastructure, will be chosen first,. Ballard will have their day to succeed. This can be a huge world market and the adaptation to a new technology does not need to be dictated by American standards.
