Ron - I wish we bocome right with this one. I am sitting now for more than two years on this and made went through all the dirt: changing symbol to from LOTO to LOTO to ONPT and still prices down. Mostly not even any volume. I will never forget my shock to see "LOTO at the Bid of ONLY 7/16". At this time, I really thought: now it is finally "over". Actually, the only thing why I wanted to hold-on it was because of the one sentence in one of their Annual Reports telling, like: "... since unable to compete with high salaries of top industry ... blab-blab ... instead the Company decided to approve the extended Stock Option Plan to it's new Executive & Managing Officers in order to attract their efforts in enhancing share price value benefiting ..."
I liked this sence - and I still like the same idea, as stated above. Nevertheless, my first thought was to get out with "acceptable" small losses somewhere above 1 USD. I think - this might not be correct, since the Daily Volume and the interest is picking-up permanently day-after-day: from 10k to 30k. Now it is already above 60,000 shares traded today ! Still "peanuts" - if thinking about a possible couple of hundreds thousand shares per day. Then REAL interest will be there with REAL prices. I think, that the GOOD thing is, that not too many shares has got sold below 1 USD. (Well maybe 100-200k.) This would mean, that early profit taking would NOT immediatly kill the ONPT price. The BAD thing might be, that the Earnings are STILL not out. This means almost for SURE a surprize ! Why ? Because - if the Earnings are just "average", then no need to delay. Such earnings will not effect the price in any "strong" way (pos. or neg.) HOWEVER - Earning Delays soooo far out of Date would indicate a VERY unexpected and unusual Earning. 1.) It can be (very) negative - which means, they just would not even like to announce anything. In this case, it would be better to Sell now. 2.) It can be (very) positive - which means, that the delay will be used to accumulate CHEAP stock at 1 USD or below or slighly above 1 USD by ONPT (or related) Managment or other ONPT Insiders. I can be wrong with this assumption - however, I am able to serve with concrete examples of stock for BOTH of the above possibilities.
I used to suffer and enjoy both of the above possibilities with stocks in my hands. But ONE thing was always common: I never knew, whether Sell or Hold is correct with the very much delayed earnings. At this time - I think, I will be on "Holding". I waited two dammned years and I would go crazy to see ONPT at e.g. 3 or 4 USD just couple of months after I sold it. Let's hope on Luck, Ron. Just let's hope.
