I didn't have time to hang around GDC as Immersion '99 was separate. To be honest, the people who really matter were at Immersion and not the looky-loos at the general conference. I think Cebit is going on too, and I'd rather 3dfx have a presence there. The description of the display doesn't sound anything like the 3dfx comdex display...which is odd.
